The Kimmelmans did not have any children and so, in establishing their estate, they created several scholarships in accounting at Universities where Eloise had studied and taught. Their close friendship with Bruce Packman, who developed ALS, inspired them to include in their estate, very generous support for the ALS Program at the University of Miami.
